Translating form Sanskrit the name “Chandraprabha” means "The radiance of the Moon". And as the moon chases the darkness of the night away, so Chandraprabha cleanses and heals the body, mostly acting at night time (after the moonrise).

Chandraprabha is one of the most popular and effective Ayurvedic remedies used for treatment of bacterial diseases of genitourinary system. Most commonly used to treat various renal, gynecological and some sexually transmitted diseases. It may promote a weight loss, by removing “ama” (toxic mucus) from the body and reducing the amount of fat cells.

Chandraprabha is considered and an excellent rejuvenating tonic for kidneys and bladder. It has diuretic and analgesic properties, prevents the process of stone formation in the kidney and gallbladder.

Chandraprabha reduces swelling of the mucous membranes, has anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic effect over genitourinary system; stops bleeding, improves the functioning of kidney, by tonifying and strengthening this organ, cleanses genitourinary system, by eliminating the infection and as well as the inflammation produced by it. Herbs contained in this formula promote the elimination of kidney stones and sand and relieve pain associated with it. Chandraprabha is recommended as preventive treatment for gallstones and some types of hypertension.

Chandraprabha contains Shilajit (asphaltum), therefore it is used for the prevention of diabetes, tumor growth, and various genitourinary system disorders, as well as problems of hepatobiliary system.

Gokshura - Tribulus Terrestris (Tribulus terrestris) - has selective anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic effect at the genitourinary system. It is diuretic, tonic, and antiseptic. It is a universal remedy for kidney, liver, heart and other organs disorders.

Guduchi – Amrit (Tinospora cordifolia) – enhances the immune system activity, increases the resistance to infectious diseases, prevents the development of fibrosis and stimulates the regeneration of liver tissue. Reduces the blood sugar and blood urea as well as increases diuresis. The bitterness of this herb has a laxative effect, promotes passage of flatus, and improves digestion.

Guggul - Mukul Myrrh Tree (Commiphora mukul) – the milky juice of its´ fruit is known as Guggul resin. Guggul is one of the most widely used ingredients in Ayurveda. Has strong cleansing and antioxidant effect. Reduces inflammation and pain, and increases the production of urine. It is used for treatment of dysuria, urinary stones, etc.

Sattva Chandraprabha capsules are used in the followinng cases:

Diseases of the genitourinary system, urination disorders (dysuria).
Painful difficult urination caused by the enlargement of the prostatic gland (adenoma, prostatitis).
Urolithiasis: nephralgia, renal colic, hematuria (presence of red blood cells in urine) albuminuria (presence of protein in urine).

Dosage

Take 1-2 capsules 2 times per day after meal, preferably with a glass of warm water.
