The ingredients of Sattva Dashamool capsules:

Bilva - Bengal quince (Aegle marmelos) - due to the content of specific glycoside, marmelosin, it has antiarrhythmic and tonic effects. An abundant amount of azulen in this plant has anti-inflammatory and antipyretic action.

Agnimantha - Arnica (Premna integrifolia) - stimulates the functioning of stomach and pancreas. It has a tonic effect over the body due to the content of a specific alkaloid. The presence of salicylates in this plant allows its use in the treatment of rheumatism and arthritis. In addition, there were found substances suspending the reproduction of gonococci.

Shyonaka – Oroxilum (Oroxilum indicum) – is rich in oroxilon glycoside, therefore it has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and diaphoretic effect. The plant is used to treat gastroenteritis and colitis, as well as rheumatism and colds.

Kasmarya – Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) – has laxative, diuretic, and galactagogue effects. Used for treatment of gonorrhea and chronic cystitis.

Patala – Fragrant Padri tree (Stereospermum suaveoleus) - eliminates indigestion, reduces swelling and cough. It has anti-inflammatory and mucolytic effects.

Shalaparni – Desmodium (Desmodium gangeticum) – has a strong antipyretic and diaphoretic action. The plant is rich in alkaloid resins, therefore causes a tonic effect.

Prishnaparni - Dabra (Uraria picta) - due to the rich content of tannins and terpenoids, stops bleeding and strengthens the vascular endothelium. It is also known for its expectorant and antipyretic effects.

Brhati – Indian nightshade (Solanum indicum) – has mucolytic, expectorant, and anti-allergic effects. It is especially effective for treatment of bronchial asthma. Removes meteorism and intestinal colic. There has been discovered its anti-tumor effect.

Kantakari – Thai eggplant (Solanum xanthocarpum) – stimulates the synthesis of corticosteroids and sex hormones due to rich content of carpesterol. Glycoalkaloids such as solanin and solacarpidin help to treat cough, bronchitis, allergic rhinitis, and urticaria. Also this plant has mild laxative and diuretic effects.

Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris (Tribulus terrestris) – is a most remarkable herb in the composition of Dashmool formula. This herb has high content of silicic acid salts, which may prevent the kidney stones formation. There are substances with selective anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic effects, specifically in urogenital system, found in Gokshura. It improves the synthesis of the semen and its viscosity, increases male potency. Prevents the development of chronic prostatitis and prostatic adenoma.

Bengal quince (Aegle marmelos), Agnimantha - Arnica (Premna integrifolia), Oroxilum (Oroxilum indicum), Gmelina (Gmelina arborea), Fragrant Padri tree (Stereospermum suaveoleus), Desmodium (Desmodium gangeticum), Dabra (Uraria picta), Indian nightshade (Solanum indicum), Thai eggplant (Solanum xanthocarpum), Tribulus terrestris (Tribulus terrestris).

Dosage

Take 1-2 capsules 2 times per day after meal, preferably with a glass of warm water.

Disturbance of the ductless glands: thyroid, pancreas, thymus, adrenal, ovaries; diabetes, postnatal period, menopause, hepatitis A and B, skin inflammation, prostatitis, prostatic adenoma, alcohol addiction.
