According to official information provided by the World Health Organization, each year is registered an increasing number of cases of diabetes. By the end of 2025 the number of patients with diabetes is expected to increase up to 300 million people.

Vijaysar – Indian Kino Tree (Pterocarpus marsupium) is a unique plant with medicinal properties. Wood, bark and leaves are used in Ayurvedic medicine. It is the most valuable raw material, because of high content of nutrients that are able to reduce blood sugar, blood pressure, and may help to heal gastric ulcers.

Heartwood has strong astringent properties, which are particularly valuable in the treatment of inflammatory diseases and diabetes. In India, this amazing tree is called Vijaysar meaning the "Vessel of victory" due to its remarkable cleansing properties. It may help to relieve diseases of the pancreas, remove kidney stones, clean blood vessels and blood, as well as reduce an excessive weight by regulating the natural balance of the body.

It has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, healing wounds, tonic, anti-helminthic, and  carminative action.

Studies have shown that the extract of Vidjaysar wood may greatly reduce glucose absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and help to control the content of insulin and pro-insulin. It promotes regeneration of beta-cells in the pancreas and reduces total cholesterol.

Jamun – Java plum (Syzygium cumini) is a fast-growing tropical tree reaching heights for up to 30 m. It has fragrant, white of pink flowers. The mature fruit is dark purple, 1.5-5 cm in diameter. The pulp of ripe fruit is very juicy, slightly astringent, sweet-sour taste. Many parts of the trees are edible and are used in ayurvedic medicine to treat anemia, diabetes and dysentery. Karela – Bitter melon (Momordica charantia) is a plant widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat a variety of diseases, among them is diabetes. Karela is herbaceous vine of the Cucurbitaceae family.

Sadabahar – Madagascar periwinkle (Vinca rosea) is also known as Pink Catharanthus. It is evergreen shrub native to Madagascar and cultivated in tropical and subtropical zones in India and all around the world. Sadabahar contains more than 60 alkaloids, with wide range of healing properties. It has antibacterial, and prolonged hypotensive effect. It is appreciated for its strong hypoglycemic action.

Diet and lifestyle:
Avoid from your diet the following products: sugar, candies, waffles, cakes, muffins, pasta, rice, semolina, smoked, canned and salty foods, sweet berries and fruits, as well as dried fruits. Significantly reduce the consumption of white bread, potatoes, hard cheese and dairy products high fat content. Give preference to whole grains, such as buckwheat, barley, and whole wheat. Eat plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables, especially Jerusalem artichoke (sunroot), green apples, kiwi, and pomelo. It is recommended to exercise or walk daily for at least 30 minutes.

Diabetes mellitus type 2 (not insulin dependent).
