The Oriental medicine considers the condition of the large intestine being a reflection condition of human health. It is known that intestine walls, as well as skin, feet, palms, and auricle have projections of all the vital organs of the human being. The intestine is closely linked with the human psyche. In case of disorder in the functioning of this organ, there is a large possibility of aggravation of chronic diseases. Also the human behavior gets affected. The person starts to manifest bad mood and negative emotions.

Therefore, the solution of almost all the health problems should start with cleansing and healing the large intestine.

One of the most common causes of constipation is consumption of high-calorie foods in small amounts. The bad habit to satisfy the hunger with a sandwich and tea or coffee leads to the reduction of amount of stool. It does not cause reflex to evacuate the bowels and as a result the bowel movement may stop for several days.

But even having a regular stool, most people suffer from a latent form of constipation. Wrong nutritional habit, especially the consumption of starch containing products (potatoes, white refined flour products, accompanied by excessive amounts of butter and sugar), mixed with protein food (meat, sausages, cheese, eggs, and milk), leads to the fact that when such a meal passes through the large intestine it leaves a "scum" on its walls. This layer of feces gets accumulated in the bowel folds and gradually forms fecal stones producing an intestinal agony. "Fast food" consumption is a direct way to intestinal agony.

The process of poisoning the body by the bad nutritional habits happens slowly. People get used to it since there are children, passionately defending their eating habits: their favorite burgers, cheesecakes, cereal with milk, and cottage cheese with sugar for breakfast. Everyday wrong eating habits last until the serious illness comes and puts the person "into the corner".

Intestinal intoxication is the main obstacle on the way to longevity. Usually, by the age of forty, the large intestine gets clogged by fecal stones and turns into "the poisonous dump". For its normal functioning, microorganisms require certain conditions such as mild acid environment and presence of dietary fiber. In most cases, there are putrefaction and fermentation processes going on in humans intestines.

Such processes create an alkaline environment that promotes the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, uncontrolled tissue growth and cancer.

Contaminated intestine intoxicates not only the human body but also the soul. It enhances bad temper, envy, selfishness, mistrust, aggression and depression.

All of abovementioned leads to various diseases. The lesions of bowel mucosal wall cause the development of various types of colitis. Hemorrhoids and varicose veins are produced by clamping and blood stagnation colon wall itself. And finally, prolonged exposure to toxins in the same place causes polyps and cancer.

The cancer of colon is a Nature´s revenge for the wrong eating habits. 99% of cases of colon cancer happens because of the intoxication with own feces.

The intestinal autointoxication may cause the development of such diseases as chronic arthritis, anemia, kidney and gallstones, nervous and mental disorders, insomnia, numerous skin diseases.

Sattva Isabgol is a natural regulator of the intestine functioning.

Psyllium husk has been used in India as a natural purgative remedy for centuries.

Sattva Isabgol is ayurvedic regulator for intestinal and digestive system that mildly cleanses the intestines and facilitates its work. Promotes a regular stool. Made from natural, environmentally friendly raw material obtained by processing Psyllium husk (Plantago ovata).

Pharmacological effect of Isabgol is produced by high content of fiber polysaccharides that, in water, forms a gel. Passing through the gastrointestinal tract, the gel mass normalizes the internal environment of the intestine, absorbs toxins and gases actively reducing pain and bloating.

The fiber of Isabgol is a source of soluble fiber. It does not split, has no nutritional value, helps reduce fat absorption, slows down the gastric evacuation, thereby contributes to the normalization of lipid metabolism and as a result promotes weight loss.

Isabgol effectively reduces the absorption of cholesterol and low density lipoproteins (LDL), as well as bile acids. Also decreases the peak of concentration of blood glucose.

Sattva Isabgol is volume laxative, which neutralizes toxins, increases the amount of beneficial microflora (acidophilus and bifidophilus bacteria) and eliminates pathogens.
